Mark jones

Pastor Mark grew up in Uptown and came to the church before knowing the Lord.  His father was led to the Lord by founding pastor Jim Queen and Pastor Mark was discipled by Tim Larkin.  After growing in the Lord, He felt the calling to the ministry where he has developed a heart for the community, the church, and now does the same by investing in and discipling others. 

 

He went to seminary at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY where he earned his Master of Arts in Missiology.  He now leads Christian education and growth groups at UBC.  

 

Pastor Mark met his wife, Mary Ellen at UBC.   They have two adult children, Matthew and Sarah.  When he is not fishing for men, he enjoys fishing with the rod and reel.
