UBC uses our own diversity to reach and love a diverse Uptown community. We take advantage of our unique geographic location to reach the Chicagoland community, from the elderly to Baby Boomers to Gen Z. We want to equip you to reach, disciple, and mobilize the NEXT GEN.
Meeting Needs Changing Lives
Ministry Teams
During the pandemic our teams gave away masks. Every August we put together backpacks to help neighborhood youth get back to school. In addition to our Monday Meal, we have helped others with food.
Neighborhood Outreach
We are a part of our neighborhood and do many different outreach events through the year. From our Monday meal to setting up at local basketball courts we strive to reach the next generation for Christ. We host a monthly legal clinic helping needy families with legal assistance
Refugee Outreach
Uptown has been the new home to many refugees going back to the 70s. Our church has a history of serving refugees from hosting new language congregations to ESL classes. We help serve international dinner nights to refugees and are preparing to serve other refugees from the Afghan and other crisis.
